Really great!

The beds were comfortable, and there was enough room for three of us in the cottage. But storage was sparse, with no shelves and hardly any hangers. We also wished there had been a small fridge. The location is very good, though the price felt a little high, even if it seemed acceptable by Baltic standards. The yard's quiet atmosphere and its tables and benches made up for quite a bit. In the room, the kettle was slightly broken but still worked, and there were cups and saucers. The disposable cutlery meant we had to buy spoons for coffee. Cleanliness could have been better: we ran out of toilet paper, the bedding was clean but dark, and the little trash bags looked odd. There was liquid soap, but no shampoo or shower gel. On rainy days you can't really use the yard, since there's no gazebo or shelter by the cottage.

The location and the courtyard barbecue were the only real positives for us. We stayed four nights, and the place felt filthy and unsanitary the whole time. In the kitchen, two electric stoves were available, but everything was extremely dirty. The rooms had spiders, beetles, and other crawling bugs; some even dropped from the ceiling onto the bed at night. The bathroom fittings were worn and dirty, the toilet was unclean with urine and feces under the rim, and the shower tray was so filthy that we bought detergent and scrubbed it ourselves. Cleaning supplies seemed to amount to drain cleaner and two air fresheners. The carpet smelled strongly of dirt, with sand piled underneath like a sandbox. We took a vacuum from the hallway and cleaned the floor and carpet ourselves, then the landlady rushed in apologizing and acting as if she were cleaning. I don't think anything else would have helped. After two nights in room No. 2, we asked to move because the drain barely worked. During showers, water stood ankle deep in the tray and hardly drained, so it was very likely to overflow, and it did. There were also critters crawling over the bed and under the mattress. They moved us, and the drain was better in the new room, but the rest was still poor. Sheets and towels are changed after each guest, washed, and hung outside to dry. I suspect duvet covers and pillowcases may just be ironed and sprayed with air freshener instead of changed, though I really hope I'm wrong. It seems they don't want to change the bedding after one night. There's a kitchen, but it wasn't mentioned when we booked, which may be just as well given its condition. If you stay one night, perhaps you can overlook a lot of discomfort. After four nights, I've never seen such filth anywhere.

The shower was so poorly cleaned we had to wash it ourselves, and we only got one small towel each, which seemed stale. We were there for one night and got bitten by bedbugs.
