The homemade bread was amazing, and there were animals all around. The place was clean and the showers were hot. We only stayed one night because of other plans, but I would have happily stayed longer. The hosts were so friendly. Getting there means a short drive along a dirt road, which was fine with our car and tenttrailer as long as we took it slowly. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area.

There’s plenty to do, but it’s also a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature. The farm’s own produce, grown in the vegetable garden and made on the farm, is available in the farm shop and is very well cared for. A beautiful resort in both winter and summer, with everything you need for a distinctive nature stay.

We had a really lovely time, and the local food was a highlight: goat cheese, bread, and little caramels. There are different kinds of guest houses as well as camping near the Daugava River, with lots of ways to spend your time. We could barbecue, fish in the river, use the fireplace, or take bicycles to explore the forest. Thanks so much, Sebastian and Alessa! It’s a special place to recharge, and everyone was kind. 😊

The Daugava is literally ten steps away, and there’s a great sauna along with plenty of facilities for a perfect getaway. We were there for three days to bike the Daugavas loki route Nr 35, and were sad when it was time to leave. The host was very welcoming and made our stay feel lovely. We also met the friendliest pets.

There was plenty for the children to see, including goats, chicken, dogs, and a playground, and we enjoyed the swimming pond and cosy fire place by the river Daugava. The toilets and showers were very clean, well above the standard we’ve seen in that region. Sebastian and Ilona made us feel so welcome that we didn’t want to leave. The massages in the enchanted Chillout Forest were excellent. This was the best place we visited on this year’s tour, and we’ll definitely return.
