Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga

It's the people here who make the hotel. Special thanks to Viktorija for the warm welcome and first-class care. She made us feel at home and is a real asset to the place. Guest relations as a whole were excellent too, with the team regularly going beyond what we expected. We've just completed our second visit, and Riga has become a personal favorite among the Kempinski hotels we've stayed at around the world. It won't be our last. The rooms are elegantly done, the Spa is world-class, and there's a rooftop bar and cigar lounge. Every part of the hotel lives up to its five-star reputation. We highly recommend staying here.

We loved the spa most of all. It's a beautifully designed, relaxing space, with a quiet room, sauna, steam room, and indoor pool. A perfect place to unwind. The hotel's right in the center, with shops and excellent restaurants a short walk away, and breakfast had a huge range of choices. Our anniversary was made special by an unexpected treat waiting in our room. From arrival on, the staff were warm, professional, and attentive. The Lady in Red deserves a special mention for making sure every detail was just right. Our stay at the Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga was outstanding. We'd happily come back and highly recommend it.

The room was large, comfortable, and very clean, and the hotel is right in the center, so everything was within walking distance. I was there during Riga's Christmas market season, when the hotel looked lovely with all its decorations. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I've stayed at Kempinski before and generally like the chain, though at first the Riga hotel looked a little dated to me. I gave it a try and had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was good overall, but ordering from the à la carte menu took around 20-30 minutes. I'm not sure if that was because of staffing or something else. I'd recommend the hotel.

Superb breakfast and clean rooms, with great service from the staff. The hotel is right in the city center, just a minute from Riga opera House. There's a small, very nice spa with a pool and underwater massage. Cigar fans can also drop by the cigar lounge.
