Appt Hotel Sofines

We really enjoyed our holiday and stay at the hotel. It's clean, very hospitable, and in a great location.

A delicious tajine was a lovely surprise and made our visit feel personal. The staff were welcoming and especially friendly, and the whole hotel was spotless and well maintained. We had an amazing stay at Sofines Hotel in Agadir. The apartment was immaculate too. Highly recommended for families wanting comfort, cleanliness and genuine hospitality.

The suites are a good size, with separate bedrooms and a kitchen, which worked perfectly for our family vacation. Appt-Hotel is decent and within walking distance of just about everything, including lots of good restaurants, lounges and cafes. The suites are definitely worth the money. The pool looked a bit unkept. At check-in, reception told me I couldn't pay by Visa and had to get cash, and that I couldn't pay the next morning. When I came back after dinner that night, a different receptionist kindly brought out the credit card machine when I asked if I could pay by card. That felt a little weird.

The breakfast was pretty poor, with limited choice and low-quality ingredients, and the pool area looked a little shabby and could use attention. It doesn't get much sun either, so we didn't use the pool. Our room was noisy because the lift kept running, even through the night. If that might bother you, ask for a room away from it. We had a few issues, but they were sorted straight away, so no complaints on that front. The hotel and rooms were generally very clean, and the staff were friendly and keen to help. The location was okay, with some shops and restaurants nearby, about a 30-minute walk from Souk El Had and roughly an hour from the Cable Car. We enjoyed our few days at Appt-Hotel Sofines. It wasn't perfect, but we didn't expect it to be at these prices.
