Dunes d'Or Ocean Club

The kids' area was a highlight. It was well organized, and the caring staff looked after our son, which gave us real peace of mind. The entertainment team kept everyone engaged with plenty of fun activities. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, from reception when we arrived to Adil in the restaurant, who was especially warm and made us feel happy and comfortable. The hotel was in an excellent location, making things easy to get to, and the food was enjoyable with plenty of choice. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it.

The hotel itself is good, but only some of the staff were decent. I was staying all inclusive with kids and went to get drinks. The bar staff member told me I had to pay even though I showed my wristband, and he was very rude. It felt like he might have been trying to impress people around him, but the behavior was appalling. There were ants in the room, so I asked to upgrade and was willing to pay the extra 250MD they quoted. When I went back to confirm the move, they wanted another 250MD for each additional child, which I found absolutely ridiculous. The food was ok, nothing special, but good enough to get through the week. Reception were ok, though not very helpful. A change in attitude would make this a much better place. Only a few staff members were brilliant: Souky from kids club, Souad, and Ala.

The staff were professional, friendly, and ready to help, and check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. The hotel is conveniently located near public transport, restaurants, and shops. My room was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept very well. The modern bathroom was spotless and had good water pressure. Breakfast had a delicious mix of local and international options, and the common areas were clean and well maintained. I found it very good value for money, would gladly stay again, and highly recommend it.

Mustafa, the manager, made us feel especially welcome, greeting us each day and checking that we were enjoying ourselves. The staff were friendly throughout. We also really liked the Italian à la carte dinner, with delicious food, lovely presentation and excellent service. We had half board, and breakfast was my favourite, especially the made-to-order omelettes and the range of choices. Dinner had plenty to choose from too, though a few dishes tasted a bit mild to me since I prefer spicier food. The sea-facing balcony was a highlight. We watched the sunset from there every evening, and being so close to the beach made it easy to step out for a walk or some sea air. The gardens were leafy and well cared for, giving the grounds a quiet, relaxed feel. Our twin room was roomy, comfortable and generally clean, though dust remained inside some drawers and on a few shelves. The bathroom was clean, but there was occasionally a slight sewage smell that cleared when we opened the balcony door. The property has quite a lot of steps, including on the way to rooms and the main restaurant, which could be difficult for guests with mobility issues. We visited in December 2025 and had a very enjoyable, restful stay at Dunes d’Or Hotel. It felt like good value, and we'd consider coming back. A little more attention to those dusty spots and accessibility would make it even better.
