The concierge, Mr Saeed, was the best part of the stay. He was helpful and respectful. The hotel itself was a real disappointment, though, and I won’t stay here again or recommend it. There were bare electrical wires, sockets hanging off the walls, missing lighting apart from wall lamps, and curtains coming loose. The water was cold, and it took the refrigerator two or three hours to work. Entertainment was zero. Loud music from the fifth floor went on until midnight and carried into the rooms below. The internet was terrible, making it hard to contact anyone back home. There are only a few restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and you need a taxi to get to the souk or beach. I think anyone who liked this hotel or rated it above one star is lying.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. I tried four different rooms, and all had mould. One smelled damp, and another had paint over the mould. The beds were rock hard, and there was even a fridge in the middle of the room. I booked three nights but left after one. One star from me.

The neighborhood was clean and quiet during sleeping hours, and the location was great, with restaurants and useful places nearby, including a market, shops, a liquor store, and a pastry shop. Staff were polite, and the price felt fair for what we got. It was clear the hotel had been renovated recently. My one suggestion is to replace the balcony tables, since they aren’t functional. Otherwise, it’s a great place to stay. Thank you.

Friendly staff and good value. Just right if you need a place to sleep. I’d definitely stay here again.

Everyone working there was helpful and friendly, but the hotel itself was old, smelly, and dirty. It shouldn’t be used until it’s renovated.
