Tikida Golf Palace

I was sorry to leave Tikida Golf Palace after such a lovely stay. They even sorted out a trip to a local Souk market for me and had the taxi wait while I shopped. The hotel itself felt like paradise, the prettiest place I’ve stayed. My room was properly five star, and the pool was luxurious. I chose half board and really enjoyed the food and attentive service. Drinks with dinner aren’t included in that option, just so you know, but it didn’t spoil the experience. The staff were wonderful and always ready to help. I’d definitely recommend it.

We visited in March 2025 and enjoyed the sunshine and mild weather in Agadir. The rooms were spacious, clean and very nice, and the breakfast buffet was good. Hamil in the patisserie deserves a mention for the thoughtful way he looked after guests. The hotel golf courses were beautiful and well cared for, though the club restaurant kitchen closes at 4pm, so plan ahead if you want food after a round. Tazegzout Golf Course was lovely and challenging, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. Golf de l'Ocean was expensive and poorly maintained. Mosquitoes were a real nuisance there, and the smell from nearby sewage works lingered for much of the day. The evening restaurant was a letdown for a five-star hotel. Service and kitchen staff seemed undertrained, with things often forgotten but still added to the bill. Dinner only starts at 7:30, so everyone arrives together and overwhelms the staff. We also had an unpleasant argument over a hotel-arranged cab: the ride was five minutes, yet they wanted 40 euros for a return trip for four people. We took two day trips. Paradise Valley looked nothing like the online photos: brown water ran through it, held back in places by plastic-filled bags. Wooden and plastic shacks crowded the narrow path, and rubbish was everywhere. The national park trip was sold at reception as all inclusive and wasn’t cheap, but 15 minutes after setting off the driver said we had to pay a 60 euro parking fee at the entrance.

The golf courses on site were in mint condition, and the food was excellent. A lovely hotel with a great atmosphere and excellent clubhouse staff too. Highly recommend it.

We had a really pleasant stay and I’d happily return. The hotel is beautiful, and our large, clean room was nicely decorated. I wasn’t keen on the mattresses, and they did miss our room service order. I also felt the restaurant menu was overpriced, though the restaurant itself is pretty and the staff are nice.
