For our family of five, 24 hours in the desert was just right. We stayed in two tents and tried both pools, though neither was particularly warm. Dinner was great, and we especially enjoyed the fire show. Everyone was professional, welcoming, and spoke impeccable English. The hotel arranged camel rides, buggy rides, and our transport back to Marrakesh. It was a great desert experience.

The people made this stay especially memorable. Every team member treated us, and particularly our young kids, like family. Mohamed and Mustafa hosted us, Ali and Ibrahim were our guides, and Hicham drove us. The servers and caretakers we met were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. We also appreciated them taking time to teach us about Amazigh culture. We stayed in the Agafay Suite at Inara Camp in February, and it was one of the highlights of our Morocco trip. The suite is so spacious and comfortable it barely feels like a tent, more like a large condo. It had everything we needed: two indoor showers and one outdoors, two toilets, a big king bed, and a sitting area we turned into a separate sleeping space for the kids, with two daybeds. There was even a private jacuzzi. Everything was thoughtfully furnished and beautifully maintained. The camp is spread out, with lots to do. We visited in a quieter part of the season and sometimes felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, which we loved. The restaurant was excellent, the pools beautiful, and the activities well organized. We enjoyed both dune buggying and a camel ride as a family. If you want a luxury desert glamping stay in a stunning, surreal setting with such wonderful hospitality, I can’t recommend Inara Camp enough. You won’t regret it.

The camel ride was a highlight, and the staff helped us take lots of photos at sunset. Dinner was impressive too, with high-quality food and a great atmosphere. The fire pit, candlelight, LED lighting, live music, and fire show all came together beautifully. Staff were kind, professional, and attentive throughout. I’d planned this as a birthday surprise for my girlfriend, and everything went smoothly. Communication beforehand was fast, clear, and polite. When bad weather meant we had to change dates, customer service made it easy and was very accommodating. We booked a camel ride, dinner in a private tent, and shuttle transport, which ran without any issues. On arrival, a staff member was assigned to us for the evening. I didn’t catch his name, but he was outstanding. He showed us to a private tent with outdoor seating, a fire pit, and lovely views of the desert and surrounding mountains. We had time for drinks and photos, especially at sunset. The drinks were excellent, and the staff checked in regularly without being intrusive. They let us take the shuttle back at a time that suited us, which we really appreciated. It’s definitely a luxury experience and on the expensive side, but worth it for us. We’d highly recommend it for special occasions.

The camp is well organized, and the view of the Atlas Mountains from our tent was impressive. The tent rooms were comfortable, and the infinity pool was heated and well placed. Mohammed at reception was efficient and helpful. The server who brought our private lunch when we arrived was very good, and we also had him for breakfast the next day. Some other servers were less friendly. We found Inara Camp through the Michelin site and stayed two nights as a family of four. There are many other camps nearby, so it doesn’t feel as isolated as you might imagine. The buggy ride was a lot of fun and a nice way to see the area. We also took an Atlas tour with lunch at a village resident’s home. I thought that was overpriced and could have been better organized. Meals were generally good, especially the desserts. A few downsides: communication wasn’t very clear. We were told dinner was at 19h the first day, then it changed to 20h the next day without us being told. A few other things came up, though nothing major. Dogs roam around the camp, and on Saturday night a big party at a nearby camp went on late and was very noisy.

I’ve brought many clients to Naracamp over the years as a driver and tour organizer, but the experience for drivers has always disappointed me. We spend long hours driving guests there safely, sometimes in temperatures of 40-45°C, yet there’s no basic consideration for drivers. There’s no shaded place to sit, no sheltered parking, and not even a bottle of water. Hospitality should include basic respect for the people working hard to bring guests to the camp. A little water, tea, or a simple shaded corner would make a big difference. I hope management improves this. Kindness and humanity belong in every hospitality experience.
