We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel after staying in places with very different comfort levels in Morocco. The food tasted good and seemed clean, and the dishes were the cleanest we'd seen there, with no marks on the spoons or plates. The service staff were very friendly and served us tea when we arrived. Our room was a bit dark, and the bathroom had a strong smell that seemed to come from the sink, though the sanitary facilities were clean. The surrounding area felt precarious, so I wouldn't recommend going for a walk at midnight. During the day, you can relax by the pool, on the porch, or on the roof terrace. The hotel also had cameras and a wall around it.

I booked at short notice while bikepacking nearby. The room was nice and had heating, the shower was hot, and breakfast was excellent. The host was very friendly.

After 10 nights in Marocco, searching for low- to mid-price places to stay, this was the best one. At last, staff who spoke English, and dinner had a restaurant feel.
