After a long day riding my motorcycle in the cold, I warmed up with tea and a chat with the really nice host. He even brought out a portable propane heater when I arrived at the reception, which made things cozy. The building is charming, the food was great, and the location beside the gorge feels lovely and secluded. My room was nice, with a long, really hot shower, and I cranked up the AC. I was traveling alone and loved this place. Would recommend!

The rooms were clean and nice, though the showers could use some improvement. Our host was friendly and helpful, and both dinner and breakfast were good and generous. The location just beyond the gorge is convenient. WiFi worked well, which matters since there’s hardly any phone reception there.

We stayed in January, and even with frost outside it was warm indoors thanks to two heaters. The owner and his wife looked after us in this atmospheric hotel, which has a lovely, family feel. There are beautiful views, and you can have dinner with Berber music. Thanks, we recommend it!

The room was lovely, and the terrace was nice. The shower was hot, the best one I’d had in two weeks. Everyone was super friendly, and the price was pretty good. It’s just below the main gorge. Dinner was very average, though breakfast was good.

The meals were a real highlight, hearty and full of flavor, and breakfast was a lovely spread. Kasbah des Roches is an affordable way to enjoy a mountain getaway, with modest rooms that have the essentials and feel clean and cozy. It sits just before the entrance to the picturesque Dades Gorges, in a peaceful setting that makes it easy to unwind. Mr. Hussein greeted us warmly, and his friendly manner made the stay feel hospitable. This family-run auberge has a simple, unassuming atmosphere and offers a chance to enjoy the quiet beauty of the Atlas Mountains.
