The host made us feel cared for from the start. He was warm and attentive, shared helpful tips for Essaouira, and gave excellent surf lessons. He took us to breakfast spots or made breakfast on the terrace, and even shared cake from his mother with tea. Yoga on the rooftop and at the beach was another highlight, with great guidance and lovely surroundings. The Rooftop Essaouira itself is beautiful, especially the peaceful terrace, where we could relax, take in the view, do yoga, or just hang out. A special place with a wonderful host. Highly recommended.

We loved The Rooftop. The host was really welcoming, the room looked cool, and the bed was super comfortable. Its private roof terrace was an amazing spot to relax. We had breakfast every morning in the café in the basement, which was delicious and well priced. The beach is about 10 minutes away and the Medina around a 20-minute walk, but we didn't mind the walk.

Charaf was a great host, and we'd definitely recommend staying here. The space is beautifully designed, with lovely skylight windows and a large outdoor terrace overlooking the city.

I spent one night in this rooftop flat and enjoyed every moment. It's decorated and designed to a high standard, with a vintage feel that made for a perfect stay. It's not far from the beach, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to relax in essaouira and experience the place. I came away from my few days here with good energy. It's a cozy place for a break from a busy life, and I'd especially recommend it to solo travelers. Remote workers can get things done with fast internet and amazing sunset views. The owner is knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and a really nice guy. You can go surfing with him or join a tour around the old Medina if you don't know the city well. The beach is just a few minutes away, and the Medina is about a 15-minute walk.
