Dinner was the standout, easily the best meal we had in Morocco, even compared with Marrakesh. The dishes had authentic flavors and felt carefully made. The next morning’s breakfast was tasty too. The place has a warm, traditional Moroccan feel, and the family’s hospitality was heartfelt. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable after a day exploring the Dades Valley. Everything was excellent, and I’d recommend it for a meal or an overnight stay.

We came for dinner, and Youssef was a lovely host. He made a really good Tagine, brought us complimentary tea and dates, and played great Moroccan music. The atmosphere was just right. Thanks, and I hope we meet again.

For what you pay, this was the best place I stayed during my 2,000-km trip through southern Morocco. I’d happily stay again. It’s within walking distance of Monkey Fingers, and parking was easy. Our room was larger than I expected, and the washroom was huge. Everything was clean, and breakfast was hearty and very tasty. I especially liked the homemade almond butter and choice of jams. The owner, Daoud (David), was friendly and helpful, and even showed us how to pour tea properly from a Moroccan teapot. The only downside was that the internet got pretty slow in the evening, but it didn’t bother me much.
