Maison d’hôte Amazir is a simple, rustic place that worked well for our short budget stay. We had hot water, a comfortable bed, and breakfast in the morning. It’s also well placed for the nearby hike. The older host speaks little English, but we managed to communicate just fine. He was very kind, and even drove us to the Grand Taxi station when we were leaving, which we really appreciated. I’d happily recommend it as a friendly base for exploring.

The food cost a lot, so I ate outside for half the price. I also had trouble sleeping because the guest house is right by the road and it was noisy at night. My room wasn't properly cleaned or comfortable, and the toilet door wouldn't close.

Hamou was lovely, and we had a really nice stay. The room was clean and beautiful. The Berber Omelette at breakfast and the Tajine for dinner were both amazing. Thank you!

We could have stayed another week after our three nights at Monsieur Hamou. From the terrace, the view of the monkey fingers was gorgeous, and both dinner and breakfast were the best we had in Morocco. Hamou made us feel at home right away and took us on a spectacular canyon hike, showing us places we never would have found on our own. After three weeks in Morocco, this was easily our favorite stay. We can only recommend it.
