Azrac Surf Morocco

The welcoming team made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable holiday in Morocco. We had comfortable beds, blackout blinds and very clean, spacious en-suite rooms. The apartment has a rooftop looking across Tamraght village and out to sea 🌊🌅. Breakfast was delicious Moroccan food, and we also enjoyed family-style home-cooked Tagine dinners.

The food was one of my trip highlights. Fatima made delicious, healthy meals full of flavour, always something new, and each dish seemed better than the last. I already miss it. Meg’s yoga was another lovely part, with gentle, mindful classes that were easy to follow and just right before surfing, especially for beginners. Abdul looked after us so kindly and attentively, even with a huge workload. He was always smiling and had thoughtful advice and tips. I didn’t learn as much surfing as I’d hoped, and the lessons could be better organized. They had a lively, somewhat chaotic feel, more like a bit of local life than a formal lesson, which I also enjoyed. All in all, it was a warm, family-like experience.

Morad, Sophie and Nora were lovely hosts at Azrac surf, and Fatima cooked superb food. Highly recommended.

After long surf days, I really enjoyed my one-to-one yoga sessions with Meg. Fatima is such a lovely person and made fresh, healthy Moroccan dishes. The staff were all great, and Abdul took wonderful care of me as a beginner during my favourite part, the surf lessons. He’s a joy to be around. I’m sure I’ll return for another yoga and surf retreat at this clean place with its family-like atmosphere.
