The people running the place made a good impression on me. I don't really know the owner, Sylvia, but our communication was pleasant and she was accommodating. Hassan runs things day to day and is a great guy. Hanan, the cleaner, is lovely, always willing to help, and keeps everything spotless. She's there every couple of days. The beach is about a 10-minute walk, and Panorama surf spot is the nearest. It's good for beginner surfers at low tide. At other times, Devil's Rock is better for beginners, about 15-20 minutes away on foot. Jamal's surf school has a board rental shop there, and he may give you a good price for a longer stay if you ask. The kitchen has just about all the utensils you need, including an oven and plenty of pots and pans. The location is hard to beat. There's a washing machine, though it isn't free anymore. If you don't mind going to the top of the village, there's a launderette there, but I can't remember its name. Avoid Rania pressing, as they're expensive. I think the other place charges around 10dh per kg, and washes, irons, and organizes your clothes, so I found that worth it. My pick is the room on the terrace. In winter, though, it may not suit you if you get cold easily in the night or morning; in summer, it can get unbearable if there's no wind. My wife loves the heat 😭 and I like the cold, so it worked out for me.
