ZELLAKA hôtel & café

We had a very pleasant stay overall, and I'd definitely come back. The place was quiet, and each room had AC with a working remote. There's a lift, and reception answers calls 24/7. The big couple's room had four beds, useful if you're travelling with kids. The sheets were clean, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and very clean. The electric water heater has a tank that can provide a quick shower or two, which helps with the water shortage affecting the whole city. The hotel isn't to blame for that lack of water. What really bothered me was the young boy at reception. He was very rude and patronizing, and needs to learn how to speak to customers, or be replaced. He copied our documents and then left them where anyone could see them. I was also surprised they asked for a marriage certificate. Hotels across Morocco don't do that anymore, and it's not legally required. Luckily, we always carry ours. If that boy is disrespectful again, I'll have no hesitation about calling the manager.
