The stay started without any clear explanation of the room or services, and even basic requests were met with indifference or ignored. The reception at Hotel Lavin felt neither welcoming nor professional, which was disappointing. A warm greeting matters in a hotel, and this one was sorely missing. I wouldn’t recommend it for its service.

There was no hot water, the toilet was broken, and the bed hadn’t been made. On top of that, the receptionist tried to charge my friend and me for two rooms instead of one because we aren’t married, although the marriage law only applies when at least one person in the couple is Moroccan.
