Ali Addich (see photo) made us feel very welcome. He’s friendly, helpful, and a great host. The food was delicious, too. Hotel Cascades Dades is nicely placed between Gorges Dades and Boumalne Dades, and the hotel and restaurant are lovely. Thanks so much, highly recommended for travellers!

The terrace and its view were great, and the soup was good, though the main course wasn’t quite as good. We stayed one night at Hotel Cascades, where Ali and the others were really friendly. We had a lot of fun chatting with Ali. They also kindly let us leave our luggage in the room during our hike and use it longer afterward so we could shower.

The terrace was nice and the food was good, but it felt like tourists were being overcharged. We ordered a berber egg, a moroccon salad, and two teas, and were asked to pay 170 Dirham. We’d asked for a menu, but he didn’t have one. We didn’t check the price first, which was our fault, of course. After travelling around the country for a while, that seemed way too expensive.

We just stopped for lunch and didn’t stay overnight, but I’d recommend going. The Berber egg was 10/10, and the service was very good.

We got useful hiking information from the staff, and the room had beautiful views. The food was good, including rice, so it wasn’t only tajine and couscous. Had a great stay here. 👌🏼
