The host was genuinely helpful: he guided us to the place and agreed to cancel and refund the room after we decided not to stay. The view across town was nice, too. We had booked through Booking.com, but once we saw the hotel we left and found another place in town. Finding it was difficult because its Google Maps pin seemed to be wrong, sending us to a back alley on the opposite side of town. The room felt far too expensive for what was there. The furniture was old and heavily used, and the tablecloth was dirty and torn. Some people were painting things, which only made the place look worse. The restaurant area seemed dirty. There were also people inside, possibly guests or just hanging around, who made us uneasy. They were smoking in the restaurant and watching us. The whole place needs rebuilding from the ground up.

We had a luxurious, comfortable weekend here, with everything well cared for. The rooms were spacious and clean, with modern decor, and the terrace had lovely views. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were always friendly and ready to help, and there was a good range of tasty food. We also enjoyed the pool, spa, and cosy lounge areas. It made for an unforgettable weekend.

The service was good, but the rest of the place was awful. The rooms smelled, the bathroom was bad, and the plugs were hard to reach. There was no hot water, and the room was freezing with no heat. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.

There’s a large terrace with a full panoramic view of Boulane Dades town and the high Atlas mountains. The rooms, restaurant, and service were nice. There’s also a park nearby, along with shops and a bank.
