I really like the owner and his car, and the people here are lovely too. I came to Boumalne at the end of my walking holiday in Morocco and spent a night at Auberge Tamazirt. Dinner was great. It’s simple and basic, but good enough for a rest.

Rooms are basic, with a shared bathroom for 150 Dh or a private one for 200 Dh. The attached restaurant has an English menu and good food, including a great chicken tajine for 40 Dh. The owner is very friendly.

It was pretty cold, so the guys brought a gas heater to my room. They were super welcoming and nice, and the place is right on the main road. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had: cheese, bread, local pastry, orange juice and marmalade, way beyond what I expected. Thanks, guys. See you next time.

The owner was gentle, kind, and hospitable, and the people next door from the Nomad shop were lovely too. It felt like being with family. The rooms were nice, the beds comfortable, and there was even a heater, which is rare in Morocco. With the wonderful views, amazing town, good people, and great breakfast, what more could you ask for? One of my favorite places I’ve stayed, in Morocco or anywhere. This is the place to stay.

We hadn’t booked ahead, but they still gave us a warm welcome. The rooms were simple and clean, and the heater made ours comfortable in December.
