The friendly staff and reasonable cleanliness are the only reasons this gets two stars from me. The hotel is badly maintained, and reception staff said the air conditioning wasn't working in almost all the rooms. Our room felt worn out, with things rattling or simply not working. You can get much better value at nearby hotels.

The staff were pleasant and the location was good, but I can't recommend the hotel. Our room was unbearably hot with no AC, the sink leaked across the floor, and the shower barely worked as a shower. Breakfast was very, very basic.

The rooms and location were fine, but the laundry service left me feeling ripped off and helpless. The front desk couldn't tell me the price or take the clothes, and told me to find a maid on the floor. I had to wait until I could find someone. When I asked the person I found about the cost, they just wrote down the items. I went ahead, assuming a small grocery bag of clothes wouldn't cost much. At pickup, the desk charged 320 MAD, about US$35, which was ridiculous for that amount of laundry. A company shouldn't handle things this way, with no price disclosure and guests sent off to find someone themselves.

We were there on a tour and wished we could've stayed longer. The hotel is great, and the rooms are really spacious. The shower was oddly set up, though, with a gap in the screen that let water run onto the basin counter and floor.
