The concierge was very helpful and informative when I visited in December 2013.

The location in central Casablanca was convenient, and the hotel was clean. My double room was tidy and pleasant, but a family member’s room with three beds wasn’t as good. What made my stay much worse was the air conditioning. The room was already cool, yet it had been switched on and left running. I was sleeping in shorts and caught a cold because of it. I couldn’t find the remote, and the room phone didn’t work when I tried to call reception. I went to find the maids and asked for reception’s number, thinking I might have missed it. They asked why I needed it, and when I explained the room was freezing and I needed the remote, one of them handed it over. I still don’t know whether the AC had been turned on to wake me because I was leaving that morning. If I’d wanted a wake-up call, I would have asked for one. The receptionists were really kind, and maybe the maids were too, but that incident was bad enough that I wanted to share it. It happened last summer. I forgot to write about it then, but found Hôtel Guynemer - Casablanca on Google today and thought the staff might want to know.

The location made it easy to get wherever we wanted to go, and the staff gave us lots of useful tips about restaurants and places to see. I recommend this hotel.

Nice place, though it could use some refurbishing.
