The room was the main problem: the bed and mirror were stained when we arrived, which really concerned us. For what we paid, cleanliness should be basic. It was our first stay here, and unfortunately a letdown. Although the hotel was easy to find, the way we were treated felt off. We wouldn’t return, since there are cleaner, better choices for the same price.

The lobby and dining room have nice decor and an authentic feel, and breakfast was decent for this country. The price is budget-friendly, but the room was quite bad. There was a fair bit of mold in the bathroom, and the street noise was very loud. A humidity-sensor fan might help with the mold, and double windows or double-pane glass could partly reduce the noise.

The breakfast was a disappointment: cold coffee and tea, some kind of inedible meat, and only the croissants were enjoyable from the small selection. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and walls, and the toilet roll holder was coming off the wall, with the roll stashed behind the toilet. Some basic maintenance and bathroom cleaning could improve the stay and bring back customers. Why did the gentleman at the front desk ignore repeated complaints about the mold and unclean bathroom? That was rude and poor customer service. Such a sad experience, especially since the bathroom otherwise looked very modern.

There’s a good range of Indian food at restaurants in Casablanca, Morocco, with lots of dishes on a customized menu. This is one of the best hotels to stay at.
