Oum Palace Hôtel & Spa Casablanca

Smail at the front desk was always ready to help, professional and kind, with a smile. The restaurant team were attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Bouchra kept our room clean and organized every day, always in a positive mood. The manager clearly supervises the team well, and you can feel how much care and dedication everyone puts in. We had two wonderful nights at Oum Palace Hotel in Casablanca. From the warm reception welcome through the excellent service, everything was handled perfectly. The comfort, cleanliness, and Moroccan hospitality were lovely. Thanks to the whole team, especially Smail, Bouchra, and the manager. I highly recommend staying here.

The staff were the best part of my stay. Everyone I met was kind and accommodating, and I appreciated being allowed to check in early. The property itself needs better upkeep and some updates. My room was spacious, but nothing like the online photos. It felt dated and dark, and the view was a wall, a trash-filled alley, and several air conditioning units. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room, there were a few stains on the sheets, and the Wi-Fi barely worked outside the lobby. At night, the motion-sensor lights in the hallways felt eerie because everything stayed pitch dark until you walked past. The shower pressure was low, and the water could have been hotter. There are no English TV channels, so English-speaking guests should bring their own entertainment. The staff really did their best.

Ismail and Abdullatif were really nice and helpful, and answered all my questions. The location is central, with lots of good restaurants nearby. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept well for two nights. Wi-Fi is a bit slow on the top floors, but that’s no problem if you have a SIM card with enough data.

Breakfast was poor, and they didn’t even have natural juice. I was put in a superior room, but it was a big disappointment: there was obvious mold and humidity damage on the shower ceiling, the kettle was dirty, and the mini fridge wasn’t cooling at all, it was hot instead. The maintenance was very bad, and the stay was nowhere near a four-star experience. The hotel doesn’t deserve its four-star rating.
