Hotel De Paris

The service was impeccable. I barely had to touch any of my almost seven suitcases before they were taken to my room, and they brought me tea and sweets while I waited. Late at night, someone personally showed me to a great place to eat nearby. They also arranged a taxi to the airport when I was leaving. Breakfast was delicious and served until noon, and the hotel is right in the center of the city. My room was clean, had an outdoor balcony, and the water was hot. I had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back!

The free breakfast at the attached cafe and the low price are what make this hotel worthwhile. It’s in a fairly central part of Casablanca, but the hotel feels very dated, with barebones rooms and beds that are okay but not very comfortable. There aren’t many amenities, and Casablanca isn’t the most exciting city in Morocco or especially atmospheric to walk around. At best, the hotel is average, saved by its location and cost.

The room gets noisy since the location is fairly central, but earplugs meant I slept without a problem. One thing I wish I’d known: taking out the key card to switch off the lights also cuts power to the whole room, so my phone was dead in the morning when I needed it. The hotel was clean, with good breakfast and hot water working perfectly. The service was excellent too. The valet helped with my luggage, and Sofian at the front desk was kind and helpful in the morning.

I've stayed at more than four other hotels in Casablanca, and this one was easily the best. The welcome was genuinely warm, the room was the cleanest, and the breakfast at the street cafe was the best. I enjoyed everything, and the Wifi was fast enough to get all my work done. Breakfast runs until 12, and check-out is at 12 too. For this price, it’s the best choice. Even paying more, you won’t find a better hotel in Casablanca city. Mr. Brahim at reception was the nicest and speaks tons of languages.
