The place had a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, but our room was really unclean and the bedsheets smelled bad. The toilets and showers felt improvised and weren’t suitable for tall people. Even at the low price, I didn’t feel we got much for our money.

The owner and staff were very nice, but I can’t recommend this hostel for more than maybe one night. On our second day there was basically nobody around. They only take cash, and the nearest ATM is about an hour away by bus, which leaves every two hours, so getting there and back takes half a day. There’s no Wi-Fi either.

Enrgy hostel is cheap and clean, and the helpful staff had everything I needed to relax my mind and body. Nice sea views too, great for surfers.
