We ended up staying 12 great nights because lovely Simo, the owner and our host, made us feel so welcome that we didn’t want to go anywhere else. The place is beautiful, right on the beachfront, and the location is stunning. Service was excellent. Kind, funny Said Fgag looked after us so well and helped with absolutely anything we needed, always in the nicest way. There was just a small, temporary problem with the toilet flush. It was easy enough to manage, but not perfect. Otherwise, top marks. I’d recommend La Perla to anyone and we definitely want to come back. Bravo La Perla, Sidi Kaouki #perla_kaouki

The staff are very laid back, which seems like a good fit if you surf and enjoy staying up late chatting. The rooms are rustic and very basic. I went when the weather was cold and wet, and with no heating or blankets, I ended up leaving early.

I don’t want to be rude, but Simon had no shame asking me to pay for the time he’d spent talking to me earlier. He couldn’t even remember what he’d told me and gave me false information. After all the time and energy I spent dealing with the resulting headaches, he should apologize and refund the money. He cheated me out of 7000. Be very careful, because behind the smiling, friendly hospitality, it can turn into a scam. One word at the end can cost you a fortune.

The staff were incredible. When we had a medical problem, the owner drove us straight to the hospital. Their kindness and the beauty of the place will stay with me. The location is perfect, right in front of the beach, with a lovely sunrise spot. The rooms are clean and super cute, and the prices are really affordable. Thank you for having us and being such amazing people. 🩷

We had a nice shower with hot water, cozy rooms, and an amazing view from the roof of this traditional Berber house. The friendly family who runs the place made us feel welcome. The restaurant dishes I tried were good, though most options aren’t vegetarian. It’s well located, just a minute from a surf school and shop.
