We enjoyed staying here very much. The bed was comfy, there was plenty of storage, and extra blankets were provided. Breakfast on the terrace was good. The riad is in a perfect spot, with all the best places to see and eat just around the corner. Hamad was especially helpful, the most helpful proprietor.

The staff were so friendly and made our stay really good. The house is in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of the medina, with everything close by. The rooms are beautiful, from the painted doors and bed to the wall art and lights. The big, comfortable bed fit me and my two kids easily. The shower had hot water, and breakfast was delicious and filling. We enjoyed being here so much.

Ahmed was one of the best hosts we’ve ever met. Whenever anything came up during our stay, he fixed it as soon as possible. We moved here from another nearby Dar after problems with the room there and no help from the owner. Ahmed and a lady, probably his mom, took great care of everyone. Breakfast on their terrace was great, and when we said we’d leave at 6 am, he packed food and drinks for us the night before. When we wanted hot water, he found us a kettle. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a smooth and authentic Moroccan stay.

The breakfast here ended up being our favorite out of all the places we stayed in Morocco. We felt lucky to find casa el haouta: the location was hard to beat, and the people were so lovely. I’m going to miss that bed when I get home.

Hamid, the owner, made us feel welcome and relaxed during our family trip. We stayed one night, and the charming, clean rooms and delicious breakfast on the upper terrace made it a great stop. The city views from up there were lovely too. The hotel is right beside the blue streets of the Medina, which made exploring Chefchaouen easy. We’d definitely recommend it :)
