Casa Elias

A great find for a low price. We were pleasantly surprised to have a sink, kettle, and mini fridge, and the patio had a wonderful view. The location was perfect, and an employee even met us at our car and showed us the way to the hotel. Loved the place. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer!

Elias was a lovely host, and the terrace was beautiful. He even arranged for cake and flowers to be delivered to my girlfriend as a birthday surprise, which was really above and beyond. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, but it was completely dark, the lights didn't work properly, and we needed three blankets to stay warm. There were hardly any amenities for a self-catered room. For instance, there was a pot for tea but no kettle to boil the water. We had a good experience overall, though they could think more about what to provide. Jamie

We loved the XL room with its kitchenette, and the air conditioning worked GREAT. The area was great too, with cool shops nearby and in the square. Communication before and during the stay was poor, and there are lots of steps to carry your bags up to the room. We got breakfast next door at the Juice Man's place, which was very inexpensive. For beautiful sunset pictures, head right to the very top of the roof, not the terrasse.

The terrace is magnificent, and the people were really kind. But the family room was so dark and unpleasant that, with so many beautiful places around, I don't think it was worth staying there. It could be much better with some improvements, though it seems the owner isn't investing in renovations. The double bed was just two separate beds, and the sheet and blanket looked like they were from the ‘ grand mother’ time. The lamps didn't match, and one didn't work. There was nowhere to put things in the toilet, and horrible curtains separated the parents' bed. With all the lovely art, crafts, and colours around, I don't understand why casa elias isn't being improved a bit.
