The location works well, just a few minutes’ walk from the Medina, and the rooms have lovely, unusual little seating areas. The staff were friendly, and I’d happily stay here again for a few days. A couple of practical things kept it from being perfect: the furniture looked nice but wasn’t very useful, with little space for hanging towels or jackets. In our room the aircon/heating control was stuck at 24 degrees. That was fine in January, but it would’ve been better to adjust it. Parking isn’t guaranteed, which we knew. They reserve spaces on the street outside, but if those are full when you arrive late, you may not find one. There’s paid parking up the street, and I’m sure the staff could negotiate for you.

The room at Chez Aziz was small, but cozy and comfortable. The location was convenient, with easy access and not far from the medina. The staff kindly helped us with our luggage, and breakfast was generous and tasty. We had a very pleasant stay.

Once we got the car and parking sorted out right outside, we found a very nice surprise. The place looks great inside and out, and it was very clean. Getting there by car was a bit of a challenge, but the hospitality and breakfast served in our room were both excellent. Lovely place to stay.

The road access is definitely a plus, and there are probably only a few places with free parking spaces. The hotel brings class, elegance and culture together, with welcoming staff.

We came by motorcycle, and the staff made sure it stayed safe outside overnight. That worked fine with just our bike, though it might have been trickier with several motorcycles. The hotel is a great place to stay, and walking into the Medina was easy. The staff couldn’t have been better.
