We were only a short walk from the heart of Chefchaouen, but inside the property it felt like a quiet refuge from the busy town. The suite was beautiful, the meals were consistently delicious, and everyone made us feel welcome with warm, genuine hospitality. Every detail seemed carefully thought through, and the atmosphere was comfortable and elegant from the moment we arrived. Having traveled widely, I'd place this among the three best stays I've had. We left already looking forward to returning, and I can't recommend it enough.

After wandering Chefchaouen's blue streets, it was lovely to relax by the pool and in the garden. Dar Echchaouen Maison d’Hôtes is peaceful, with lovely decor and striking mountain views. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind and always ready to help. I'd definitely recommend it for a visit to the city.

Dar Echchaouen's gardens, rooms, and pool are beautiful, and the place felt like a real gem in Chefchaouen. We weren't sure about eating at the restaurant at first, but the food really stayed with us, especially the desserts, some of the best we had on our trip. They don't serve wine, though you can bring your own bottle and drink it there.

We booked breakfast with the room, which I'd recommend. You can ask for fresh omelette or scrambled eggs, and there's also a buffet with plenty of choice. The room was spacious, the pool was a treat, and the location was great for staying in the blue city. We also had a delicious dinner downstairs one evening.

From the covered terrace above our room, the view over the 'blue city' was spectacular. We spent two nights at the hotel, and the first impression was already lovely: flowers and a fountain framed by the mountains as we came through the front gate. They greeted us with tea and a sweet, which was a nice welcome.
