Dar Muktab

Eight of us stayed for two nights, and the hosts made it a fantastic visit. Mustafa and his wife looked after us and made breakfast, plus the best dinner we had during our six days in Morocco. The place and everyone attending to us were amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone, and when I return to chaouen, I'll definitely stay at Dar Muktab again.

Dar Muktab's terrace is a special spot for looking out over the Rif Mountains and the city's blue rooftops. Seeing the sunrise or sunset from up there stays with you. The house has been lovingly restored, keeping its traditional Moroccan architecture while adding modern comforts. It's in a quiet, charming part of Chefchaouen, just steps from the medina. Warm staff and the calm feel of the house made our visit to the Blue City wonderful and memorable.

Dar Muktab is a carefully restored old house near the Chefchaouen medina, pairing traditional Moroccan architecture with modern comfort. Whitewashed walls, carved wooden doors, colorful zelliges, wrought iron lanterns, and the city's familiar blues give it real character. The decor feels considered throughout, making the setting beautiful and inspiring. I highly recommend it for a relaxing, memorable stay.

We rented all eight double rooms in this new riad for our group, and each room was more beautiful than the last. The decor has impeccable taste, with a modern feel that suits this artistic town. The staff were attentive and dedicated. It's just a short walk from the center, making it a great option for groups exploring Chefchaouen.
