A quiet, friendly guesthouse, though Citadel doesn’t have the most lively atmosphere.

The room was decent, though the shower curtain could have been cleaner. Breakfast was still quite good even during Ramadan, and the terrace was a lovely place to eat, with a morning view of the sea and fortress wall. The stay felt cozy, but I didn’t like being repeatedly asked for a tip after each breakfast by the hired maid, the owner’s wife Masima was away. Breakfast was already included in the price.

We had a great time here during our one-night Easter stay.

Staying here was a real pleasure. With Massimo "Gatto" managing the place, the hospitality is assured.

The service was good, and it’s a good guesthouse in El Jadida. Thanks, Mr. Lionel, and all the best.
