The pool was dirty, the rooms were small, and there wasn’t much space. The price felt high for the poor service, especially with no meals included. There weren’t enough air conditioners, and in summer the mosquitoes and insects were awful. The riad is in a dirty neighborhood where you could be in danger. I was also sad to see French people taking control of Moroccan heritage like a riad.

We found the staff welcoming and attentive, always happy to help or suggest things nearby. Breakfast was generous and tasty, often served on the terrace, which had a lovely atmosphere. Riad des Plages is a peaceful, charming spot just a short walk from Plage David, between Bouznika and Mohammedia. The riad is well cared for and tastefully decorated, with traditional style alongside modern comforts. Our room was clean and comfortable, and some rooms look out over the pool or garden. It’s close enough to walk to the beach in a few minutes, while restaurants and local conveniences are nearby. A relaxing seaside break away from the bustle. A great option for couples, families, or friends, and I’d happily recommend it.
