The market and snack shops are close by, and there’s a coffee shop attached to the hotel. It was a real relief to find somewhere reasonably priced in town. The door guard was especially helpful with our bags, and we were thrilled they let us leave our bicycles in the garage next door.

The room itself was clean and had air conditioning, a hot shower, and good Wi-Fi. It was also handy for the bus stop and shops, which is why I’m giving it four stars. But after a 10-hour bus ride from Fez, arriving at 8 pm to find our room double-booked was frustrating. No one on staff spoke English, and getting the room sorted took a difficult conversation. Customer service was lacking.

Right in the heart of Arfoud, with rooms that have the basics like air conditioning and a hot shower. The prices are reasonable too.

A small motel, probably fine for a single night. It was 120dh.

It’s a decent place.
