The plants on the balconies and on the once lovely terrace looked like they needed watering, at least the ones still alive. The neighborhood was noisy late into the night. We only had bath towels for two, despite booking for two adults and two children. The tagine for four that we ordered turned out to be half a chicken cut into three pieces. Breakfast was very poor compared with what we'd expected from our earlier stay. The staff were polite, but didn't speak English. We stayed at Casa Guapa for our honeymoon eight years ago, when it was under different management, and it felt magical then. Returning with our two children, we found the care we remembered missing. Many things need maintenance and freshening up, and the booking site photos don't match what we saw. Having stayed before may make us more critical, but I think the new manager should put in more time and money. Sadly, Casa Guapa will stay in our minds as a sweet memory from the past, slowly fading with time and neglect. What a pity.

The host was especially welcoming and friendly. The apartments have lovely Moroccan-style decor, and the beach is close by. The rooftop is beautiful and relaxing, and it's a nice neighborhood with friendly people and shops. There was everything we needed nearby. A really nice, cool place to stay, and I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

I usually spend ages looking for the right place when I travel alone, and Casa Guapa was such a find. The hyatt gave me a warm welcome. I stayed in the rooftop studio on the top floor, which felt comfortable and homely. I loved the quirky details and being up on the roof to watch the sunrise and sunset. Dreamy.

The terrace upstairs was amazing, a quiet, atmospheric spot to relax and do yoga. Our apartment had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and two balconies. The house is beautiful, with a great style and care in every detail. Nadine was very kind and showed us the shops and things to do. The location was convenient too, about a 10 or 15 minute walk to the medina. I’m leaving today after three really lovely days here.
