Naima and Said, along with their lovely family, made us feel incredibly welcome. Their kindness, courtesy, attentiveness, and professionalism made the stay unforgettable. This recently opened family-run place has everything it needs to become a must-stop near Essaouira. The house has a large kitchen with what you need to store food or cook, plus a spacious dining room where you can meet other guests over dinner if you like. You can order the meal you want, and the hours are very flexible. Naima and her family are discreet around the house, but we were glad they chose to share meals with us. It gave us a chance to talk about different cultures and get to know one another. There’s also a large, very clean pool, powered entirely by solar panels and big enough for the property’s four bedrooms. Pool towels are put out on the loungers each day, and there’s a washing machine. The rooftop has wide views of the surrounding area, and you can park your vehicle safely. A shop is 200 meters away. The village is a few minutes by car, or you can walk or cycle through the argan fields. The house is warm and welcoming, and you’ll find what you need. It’s also good for teleworking, with excellent Wi-Fi. Our spacious air-conditioned room had a much-appreciated mini-fridge, new and very comfortable bedding, and its own balcony or terrace for tea, coffee, or breakfast. A bottle of water in the room and welcome tea by the pool were especially welcome after a long, hot journey. The bathroom was a good size and had everything we needed. The bath linens were clean and high quality, and changed whenever we wanted. Any request was taken care of. Breakfast was included and plentiful, with quality products and a local feel. Nothing was missing, and any special request was considered without making us feel like we were imposing. We had an excellent stay.
