Dar Rahaothello

We were my husband, daughter, two friends, and me, and from the mint tea and cookies at arrival, we felt warmly welcomed at Dar Raha Othello. The manager was wonderful, friendly, and extremely helpful. She kept everything running smoothly and could also arrange home-cooked dinners, horse riding on the beach, and hammam and massage appointments. We can’t wait to return, and highly recommend it for a stay in Essaouira. The riad is beautiful, right in the heart of the medina. Downstairs, a garden and fountain sit among custom furniture and art, and the living and dining room make a lovely place to gather. All the bedrooms were comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, and had private bathrooms. The rooftop deck was a great spot for the delicious breakfast: fresh juice, fruit, bread, eggs, tea, and coffee.

The location is very convenient, and we felt comfortable throughout our two-night stay. I was there with my husband and our one-year-old son, and the friendly, helpful Nezsha and kind owner made us feel welcome. We’d recommend this place if you’re looking for accommodation in Essaouira.

The rooms were great, and the terrace was beautiful. Hamza welcomed us with excellent hospitality and gave us all the information we needed for a lovely stay. It’s a truly outstanding riad. If we return to essaouira, we’ll stay here again. Thanks so much.

This fantastic house sits right in the middle of the Medina and has six bedrooms, with double or twin beds in each. Every room has its own amenities. There’s also a shared space for relaxing, dining, and chatting beside a sparkling waterfall, which can be switched off at night. The house has plenty of character, and the balcony and rooftop mezzanine offer stunning city views.
