The terrace was a lovely spot for breakfast, with a great view of the sea and the wall. Keep an eye on your plate, though, the seagulls will try to grab breakfast if you turn away. Jorge was very nice, accommodating, and gave us some great recommendations. Dar Skala is in a great location, but the rooms need some TLC. They were very dusty, and it affected our sleep so much that my wife and I left early. The photos we found didn’t accurately show how clean the rooms were.

Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean was fantastic. It’s a lovely little spot, and Jorge was very friendly. When we arrived, he gave us a quick introduction to Essaouira.
