Residence Essaouira Mogador

I had a very bad stay with my family in August 2025. I booked two rooms, but what we got didn't look like the pictures, and it was very dirty.

We were after a cheap, no-frills place to sleep for three nights, and this was pleasant and inexpensive. The owner was very friendly, and the location worked well: about a ten-minute walk to the top of the beach and roughly thirty minutes to the medina. We'd stay again 👍 Our room was spacious, pleasant, and had a traditional Moroccan feel. It was basic but clean. The WiFi kept coming and going, though, and the shower was lukewarm at best. One day it was completely cold. It also leaked, leaving the bathroom soaked after a shower.

Great value for the price. The room was very clean, with a sofa and table, and the beds were comfortable. WiFi was good too. I'd stay here again.

We were only here for one night, arriving after dark, and it was the only hotel available. Now I understand why. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The sink leaked all over the floor, the refrigerator was cracked and broken, the cabinets were damaged, and the shower was nasty. There were no towels or toilet paper, the lights were very dim, and the place wasn't very clean overall. It's a shame, because it could be a nice place if someone kept up with it.
