Albert and the rest of the staff made us feel cared for, almost like family, and the place had a real homey feel. We only stayed two nights during our 12 day trip around Morocco, and wished we could've stayed longer. The rooms were lovely, with the distinctive traditional Riad design around an open central courtyard. Breakfast was freshly made to order each morning on the sunny rooftop terrace, and they took care of whatever we needed. Albert also pointed us toward good restaurants and a hammam massage. This was our favorite stop on the trip, and we'd happily return.

I could've happily just relaxed in the room. It was really nice, smelled good, and even had rose petals in the toilet, along with coffee, tea, and biscuits. Everyone welcomed us so warmly and was friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was amazing, and the staff kindly helped us take photos. One of the best hotels I've stayed at, and I'd love to come back.

Gisele made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay, and even arranged a packed breakfast and lunch for my early start on a long journey. I felt very well looked after. The delicious breakfast was served on the roof terrace, and the beautifully renovated riad felt like a peaceful oasis right in the middle of the medina. I'll be back.

The homemade breakfasts were a highlight, with yogurt, fresh fruit, eggs made how you like, good coffee, crepes, jams, honey, and cakes. The staff were all kind and went out of their way to help. We thought the interior design, restoration, and decoration were close to perfect. This was our favorite Riad in Morocco, even better than the lovely places we stayed in Marrakesh, and cost a fraction as much. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Essouria. Nothing to criticize.

The service was impeccable, and breakfast was so good. Philipe and his wife have restored this riad beautifully, and you feel relaxed as soon as you come through the front door. The rooms and location were perfect too. If you're in essouira, don't miss out on staying here.
