Riad Etoile d'Essaouira

The shower was the one letdown. The water was warm but not really hot, and the pressure kept changing. Apart from that, I was very satisfied. The room was good, the bed was super clean and comfortable, and I slept really well. The Riad is good value and sits in the old Medina, close to everything. The staff were very nice and friendly.

The terrace and all the plants were a favorite of mine, and the decor was beautiful. We slept comfortably, and the breakfast was delicious each day. Every staff member was so friendly, answered our questions, and helped us during the stay. Thanks for all the help and for accommodating us. I'd definitely recommend it.

Our top floor room had plenty of space and sunlight, though it was very cold in January. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was delicious, but very sweet. The staff were polite and friendly, and cleaned the room daily. The medina location was convenient, with no street noise. We would recommend the riad, though showering wasn't enjoyable because the water temperature and pressure were so inconsistent.

The hygiene was awful, including insects in the bathroom, a dirty toilet, and no towels. The room was dirty, most of the equipment was rusty, the light was very poor, and the water wasn't warm. The staff weren't welcoming or helpful. The woman wouldn't show us any other rooms, so we were left with the only one she showed us. They don't serve breakfast either. With loud music and noise from the street, it was hard to sleep. I wouldn't recommend it.
