We first stayed at another place, where the smell was bad and the water wasn’t hot, so the difference here was obvious. At this Riad we had no such problems, with hot water, towels, and no unpleasant smell. It has an open central area and enough windows too. The price is similar to other Riads, but the value here is exceptionally good.

The room turned out smaller than I expected from what I’d seen. Still, I loved this little Ryad and its staff. It felt cosy and was close to everything in the Medina of Essaouira, and breakfast on the rooftop was tasty.

We were able to drop our bags off early, and the host was so kind and welcoming. The place was lovely, clean and quiet, with a comfy bed and a room that stayed cool at night. Breakfast was a really delicious local sweet one. We’d love to come back.

Nothing special, but it was good enough for sleeping and spending the day at the beach, surfing, or doing other things away from the hostel. I think it would be a better place to stay in summer than during colder months like October or November.

The staff were nice, and breakfast on the rooftop was very tasty. A wonderful place.
