Riad Raoud Rayhan

The room smelled unpleasant, which made it uncomfortable, and the response to my feedback at the end felt defensive rather than receptive. I hope management improves the training and professionalism, because the service didn’t match what was advertised. I booked a 30-minute back massage and explained that I mainly wanted my upper back worked on. The receptionist suggested starting with my legs and lower back. After some insistence, I agreed to about five minutes on my legs, with the rest focused on my upper back. The massage felt very unprofessional. The therapist used very little pressure even when I asked for stronger pressure (“plus forte”). They kept pausing to talk to someone else and even sat down during the session, so it felt like very little effort was being made. Another therapist came in for the last few minutes and used stronger pressure, which was better, but the session was nearly over by then.

We loved the spa, and everyone was so nice. The space was beautiful, clean, and felt safe, and breakfast was tasty and included.

Breakfast on the rooftop was a real highlight, and the lounge was a lovely spot to relax. Our room at Riad Raoud Rayhan in Essaouira was beautiful, full of natural light, and very comfortable, with nice decor and a lovely four poster bed. The bathroom was large with a spacious shower, and everything was spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Essaouira!

I had one of the best massages I’ve had, strong and soothing, exactly what I needed. There’s a wide range of massage options, and prices are very reasonable for the service. The venue at Riad Rouad Rayhane in Essaouira is beautiful and relaxing, and the staff were professional and welcoming from start to finish. Great service and value. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Essaouira!
