Breakfast on the roof terrace became the best part of each day. We’d sit there for over an hour, taking in the views and sunshine while seagulls passed overhead, with fresh food and good coffee. The Ryad feels wonderfully secluded, yet Hayat and her team are warm and gracious. Our room was spacious and lovely, with a huge king-size bed and a great shower stocked with handmade products. Everything was spotless and smelled gorgeous, and I loved looking at the owner’s fascinating art collection. We couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Essaouira. Thanks so much for taking such good care of us. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The roof terrace and rooms are lovely, and the Wi-Fi worked well. It’s also well placed near the ramparts and the sea. The staff gave us helpful suggestions for restaurants and things to see, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They were so friendly and patient, and always happy to help. Highly recommend.

Breakfast was varied and delicious, and a great way to get the day started. We felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay at Ryad Watier. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, with everything spotlessly clean. Fatiha and Hayat brought such warmth and good vibes that we felt right at home. I’d definitely recommend this charming ryad to anyone after a genuine stay in Essaouira.

We only had one night here because of our tour company’s booking, but I wish we’d had longer. The house is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and has large, comfortable bedrooms. The airy shared spaces have chairs where you can sit, read, relax, or just pass the time. The owner served an exemplary breakfast on the roof, with views over the medina’s little lanes and shops. The manager, owner, and staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and they pointed us to very good Moroccan restaurants and a café for a snack. I can’t recommend this beautiful hotel highly enough.

Hayat made my stay especially lovely. She was kind, attentive, and took care to make sure everything was in order, so I felt like a valued guest. The riad is a great base, with the medina and waterfront easy to reach. I enjoyed the fresh, tasty breakfast and spent time unwinding on the cozy terrace, with its lovely views and peaceful feel. A comfortable, authentic experience in Essaouira. Highly recommended.
