I came back for my second stay, and it still feels like my home from home in Essaouira. It’s welcoming and relaxed, and you feel part of the hostel family. There’s a great terrace where you can chill and cook, and they even had a guitar I could play. Jay shared his own, which was a big bonus for a musician who’d left theirs behind. All the staff help you feel at home, especially Jay, who shares the local knowledge you need. There’s always fresh Moroccan tea and a friendly face when you get back. Jay’s a good musician too. He played us some lovely flamenco and other music, and invited guests to join in if they wanted.

The people working at this hostel were so friendly and lovely. We chatted and laughed together, and their smiles never faded during our stay. It was great meeting them. The hostel is in a really good location for anyone visiting essaouira, and I’d definitely recommend it. God bless them.

It’s a very local hostel, with a beautiful rooftop and good services. Jay at reception greeted me so kindly. I’ve stayed at other hostels and they were different, but thank you so much, Jay. See you again inshallah!

The staff are super friendly, and there’s a small kitchen where you can make breakfast or cook. It’s a nice place to stay. Don’t expect European standards, but it was fine for me.

The damp, moldy smell was really bad, and the hostel felt very humid. I wouldn't stay here if you care about your health. It definitely isn't worth the price.
