This is a Dar now, not a restaurant. We had Sara as our host, and couldn't have hoped for a better one. She encouraged us to explore Morocco and enjoy its culture and people, and we're really grateful for that. It's a safe place to leave your bags, with a clean bed and tasty breakfast, for a relaxed, no-frills stay in Fes.

A lovely, light and airy French-run riad cafe. The menu is simple but appetising, and the milkshakes and desserts are excellent. When we visited during Ramadan, it opened at 12:30 and was closed on Mondays.

Peaceful and welcoming, even with the medina's bustle all around. The family atmosphere and attention to the small details stood out, and everything was clean. Breakfast was excellent. If I come back to Fez, I already know where I'll stay. A warm thank you to Zahra!
