For what I paid, this was unacceptable. The sheets and pillowcases had stains, the towels smelled and weren’t changed, and there was hair and soap scum on the bathroom floor and fixtures. The table, nightstand, and TV remote were dusty and sticky, and the room smelled musty. I reported it to reception, but they didn’t clean the room or offer a suitable fix in a reasonable time. I asked for a refund or a room change, and the hotel’s response was unsatisfactory. I have photos and receipts. I can’t recommend this place.

I’d stayed at Campini Hotel for a while and had good experiences with Kamal and Othman, who were always smiling. This time, though, I was surprised by a new receptionist, Mohammed or Simo. The man at reception, Mohammed, was rude and dishonest. He first told me the room was 100 DH a night, then when I arrived I found out it was 200 DH. Very bad experience, and the place isn’t worth your time or money. Avoid it.

My room at Hotel Campini was dirty, with no toilet paper or towels in the bathroom. The receptionist, Mohamed, was extremely rude and dishonest. He’d said the room was 100 DH per night, but charged me 200 DH when I arrived. Communication with reception was awful and unprofessional, and they seemed to gloat about it. I had a horrible stay and wouldn’t recommend this place.

I came back for a week-long getaway and was really impressed. Othman in particular was such a nice guy, and everyone on staff was friendly and accommodating from the moment I arrived. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed, with a comfortable bed, traditional decor, and everything I needed. Fontaine Campini is cozy, quiet, and comfortable, with great staff, amenities, and location. It exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return for a third visit and enjoy this beautiful city again.

The hotel is quiet and peaceful, with friendly staff and beautiful traditional moroccon decor. It’s close enough to walk to the old city, and the middle rooms have a lovely space to relax if you’re in a big group. There are rooms in different sizes for different needs. If you’re after a cheap one-star hotel, it fits that bill. That said, it feels shabby and very run down now, though I can imagine it was beautiful when first built. The sheets seemed clean, but the old morrocon blankets and pillowcases didn’t seem to be washed between guests, so it felt like sleeping in someone else’s sweat. Breakfast came from a very filthy kitchen. The owner really needs to renovate the place from scratch, because it could be a hidden gem. Two nights were more than enough to make me ill, and I’d avoid staying again.
