The location felt much safer than the old town, with a large Carrefour about a 12-minute walk away. Getting to the bus station or Medina takes around 20-30 minutes on foot. In the room, the Wi-Fi worked well, and there was both air conditioning and plenty of heat. The private bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, with two bath towels and one hand towel, but no hairdryer. Breakfast was fairly filling, and the cook would refill the coffee and bread.

For a one-night stop, I’d recommend it. We had a good time and I’m not sure why the reviews are so negative. The room was decent enough for what we paid, the breakfast did the job, and the guys even offered to put our motorcycle in the garage.

The staff were cool, especially the ladies working in the morning, but I wouldn’t expect much from the stay. The room smelled like sewer and cigarettes, and you could hear the next door conversation clearly. It felt like a penitentiary, minus a guard yelling lights out. Power and Wi-Fi were shut off around 2230 and came back around 0650. The bed was hard, and the pillows felt practically nonexistent, like paper stuffed in a bag.

The location was quiet and still very central, which worked perfectly for us. The hotel was spotless and the staff were so kind. We arrived late at night but were welcomed warmly. Big thanks to Mohammed at the night desk for making check-in easy and pleasant. A wonderful stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.
