A welcoming, authentic-feeling oasis in the heart of Fès. The rooms are beautiful, the staff super kind, and the food delicious. Highly recommend it.

Muhammad upgraded our room, which made for a really comfortable stay. The hotel was quiet but only a short walk from the lively streets, and everyone was quick to help whenever we needed anything. Their little tips made the trip easier and more enjoyable. We got back very late one night, but Ali stayed up for us and even prepared orange juice. It felt warm and home-like there. I’m sorry I can’t remember all the staff names from yesterday and today, because they were all amazing. The hotel also has guide services, which seem like a great option with all the winding streets in Fes.

We loved the location, in a less touristy part of the medina but still very close to the tannaries and other attractions. The rooftop views were spectacular, and breakfast was very good. Rooms are spacious and quiet, and Mohammed, Hicham, and Ali were there for us 24/7, ready to help or accompany us when needed. Of all the riads we’ve stayed in, this one was by far the best value for money.

A really nice property with caring, extremely friendly staff who went out of their way to get us what we needed. Fez is a maze, and we’d definitely have gotten lost without them. They even walked with us through the streets to help us find our way around.

Breakfast costs 10 euros per person each day, which felt outrageous in Morocco. That amount could buy a full dinner at an upscale restaurant, or around 20 espressos. The hotel is expensive for what it offers, especially in this part of the Medina. I’ve been living in Morocco for a month, and this riad was worse than a $15-a-night Airbnb, despite costing nearly $200 a night. We found the place dirty, and there was a roach in our room. The beds weren’t made during the day, and we had to ask for toilet paper and soap. The shower drain was clogged, and the room itself was very plain, with mostly bare walls, which isn’t typical here. It’s also inconveniently located, about a 22-minute walk from the nearest good restaurant, The Ruined Gardent. I don’t understand why someone would choose this over staying near Batha or the Blue Gate. For my family, booking here was a mistake. The manager was very kind, though communication was difficult because his English and Spanish weren’t good. He sent us to a completely empty restaurant where dishes cost around 21-30 euros. After we ate, the chef gave the manager a free meal, and we ended up paying for it.
